Refresher on free samples

Okay, we haven’t done free samples for a while so I’m going to throw a few out there. Keep in mind, free samples can be really great. I’ve gotten several packets for laundry detergent – saving them for vacation! Also, some lotions that fit in my purse, along with chapstick, perfumes, and other cosmetic items. The oddest was a small piece of dry salami – yes, it really came in the mail! So, check out a few of these items.

 
Lea & Perrins Thick & Classic Worcestershire, along with Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauce from Walmart. Go to http://instoresnow.walmart.com/enhancedrendercontent_ektid72954.aspx to sign up. Don’t forget to check Walmart’s site regularly – they always have free samples to sign up for.
 
Now, here’s an odd one – Glidden is giving away quarts of paint! No, it won’t finish a room, but you can try a color to see if it’s what you want! Go to https://www.glidden.com/promotions/free-paint-giveaway.do, pick your color and fill out the form. Make sure to read the restrictions.
 
Did you ever see a new food or beverage you’d like to try but didn’t want to spend the money on a whole package? Free samples are the way to go. Check manufacturers’ web sites to see what they’re offering. For example, Cold Turkey Tea is one I’ve never heard of but would like to try – there’s a free sample offer on their site at http://www.coldturkeytea.com/FreeSample.aspx.  
 
The easiest way to find a manufacturer’s web site is to search the name. It will usually be the first hit. Once you get to their site, look for News or Promotions – that’s where they put the good stuff!
