AUGUSTA, Ga.---The city of Augusta remembered the September 11 attacks with a ceremony this morning at Augusta Common.

Local elected officials acknowledged families and volunteers from the CSRA, and bells tolled at the exact time that the World Trade Center towers went down. There were also flags marking all public safety workers who lost their lives from September 11 through 2007.
