Missing North Augusta boy found safe

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - DSS and North Augusta Public Safety officers are investigating the disappearance of 10-year-old Tyson Curry who was found alive and "okay" around 6:50 this morning.
Lt. Tim Pearson, the Public Information Officer with NADPS, says Curry's biological father called dispatch this morning to say his son was safe with him at the North Augusta Garden Apartments.
Deputies responded and said they did find the child "okay".
Lt. Pearson says Curry is a foster child who disappeared from his foster home on Summit Commons Court around 4:15 yesterday afternoon. Police originally told News 12 Curry left his home to ride his bike and never returned.
Police were out all night looking for Tyson.
Lt. Pearson says his agency and DSS are now investigating the exact events that took place overnight.
