Battle of the Badges in Aiken Saturday

AIKEN, S.C. --- Six area agencies are going to battle it out on Saturday for bragging rights and contributions.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, Aiken Department of Public Safety, North Augusta Public Safety, Wackenhut, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and G-V-W EMS/Firefighters will be playing ball Saturday, November 21 starting at 9:00 a.m. The tournament, called the Battle of the Badges, will be played at Citizens Park and will be a double elimination.
According to participants, the game was played for the first time in 2006. There is no admission fee to attend the event, it is strictly on a donation basis.
Proceeds from the event will do to the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken.
