Posted: 07/31/2015 - They dedicate their lives to serve our country, but when their service is over, many soldiers come home and find themselves fighting a much different battle. Many veterans across the country, and right here in Augusta battle homelessness.

Power lines down on Hereford Farm Road

Updated: 07/31/2015 - Columbia County Sheriff' Dispatch confirms a single car accident on Hereford Farm Road that resulted in power lines to fall across the road. Dispatch says EMS was called to the scene for precautionary reasons. No lanes are closed, but Sheriff Deputies are directing traffic.

Fire destroys Augusta familys home and memories
