12 On Your iPhone

There are two ways to get News 12 stories on your Apple iPhone. You can either bookmark News 12's mobile site, 12 On Your Cell, to your home screen, or you can download News 12's custom iPhone application. Instructions for both are below. (Click the images for a larger version.)

Bookmark 12 On Your Cell to Your Home Screen

From your iPhone's home screen, tap Safari. Tap the address bar and type in 12onyourcell.com.

Tap the Go button. The page will load.

Tap the plus sign at the bottom of the window. Some options will appear. Tap "Add Bookmark".

If you like, change the text for the name of the bookmark. To finish, tap the Add button in the top right corner.

A new button will appear on your home screen.

Tap the button and Safari will automatically open and take you to 12 On Your Cell.

Download News 12's iPhone Application

On your iPhone's home screen, tap the App Store button. Tap Search and type in "WRDW". Tap the result showing the blue 12 logo.

Tap the "FREE" button, then tap the "INSTALL" button that appears.

The application will install to your home screen.

Tap the button to access news, sports, and weather from News 12!

News 12 offers several categories of video and headline RSS feeds.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format that allows websites to easily share headlines and other content to their readers.

To get RSS feeds, you'll first need an RSS reader, which allows you to automatically pull in fresh content from multiple RSS feeds across the Web into a single application.

Popular readers include: My Yahoo, My MSN, Google, and Bloglines. You can also read RSS feeds in browsers.

To add News 12's feeds to your personalized site, copy the URLs you want from the list below and paste them into your reader of choice.
