AUGUSTA, Ga.--- Investigators in Richmond County are looking for a man in connection with a violent sexual assault.

44 year old Anthony Wayne Holden is wanted for several charges including aggravated assault and aggravated sodomy.

Investigators say Friday at 1 a-m, Holden poured boiling water onto his 21year old roommate's face, chest, and arms.

The report also says Holden stabbed her several times and forced her to perform sexual acts at knife point while she was in and out of consciousness. The victim finally convinced her attacker to take her to the hospital.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says they are putting all efforts into finding Holden because of the violence of the attack.

He was last seen in a 1997 4-door black Honda accord with tinted windows and no license plate.

AUGUSTA – SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT WANTED

Anthony Wayne Holden, 44 is wanted on the charges of:
Aggravated Assault
Aggravated Sodomy
False Imprisonment
Possession of a Knife During the Commission of a Crime

On Friday June 27, 2008 at approximately 0100 hours the victim, a 21 year old black female was brutally attacked and sexually assaulted by her roommate. The victim was sleeping when the suspect poured boiling water on her face, chest and arms.

The suspect then stabbed the victim several times on the arms, hands, chest, buttocks and leg with an unknown type knife. At knife point, the suspect then forced the victim to perform sex acts. The victim tried to escape and the suspect attempted to cut the victim’s throat. The suspect later duct taped the victim’s hands to her abdomen.

The victim was then struck in the back of the head with a blunt force object causing a large laceration. The victim was in and out of consciousness over the next several hours and was repeatedly sodomized and assaulted.

The victim was able to convince the suspect to seek her medical treatment. At approximately 1330 hours, the suspect transported the victim to the Medical College of Georgia and then fled the scene. The victim sustained 2nd and possibly 3rd degree burns, a fractured hand and required multiple stitches to her body and staples to her head.

Holden did not report to work, a Search Warrant was served on his residence and Holden knows he is being sought by Law Enforcement.

Due to the violent nature of the attack, all efforts are being focused on taking Holden into custody.

Holden was last seen driving: A Black 1997 4-door Honda Accord with tinted windows and no state tag. The tag should read AZK 0789
